Full Stack Mobile Engineer
About Us
We're an early-stage startup building a mobile app that delivers personalized, actionable sleep insights. We aggregate data from popular wearables and health platforms to give users a unified, intelligent view of their sleep. We're looking for a mobile software engineer to own the app from the ground up.
About the Role
You'll be the primary engineer responsible for building and shipping our mobile app and the backend services that power it. You'll make key architecture decisions, write core features, and directly shape the product users interact with every day.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and ship the mobile app for iOS and/or Android (or cross-platform via React Native)
Build and maintain backend APIs for user accounts, data ingestion, and analytics delivery
Integrate with wearable devices and health data platforms (HealthKit, Google Health Connect, Oura, etc.)
Collaborate closely with our data scientist and designer to bring sleep insights to life
Set up CI/CD, testing, and monitoring infrastructure
What We're Looking For
3+ years building and shipping mobile apps (iOS, Android, or cross-platform)
Strong backend skills — comfortable with Node.js, Python or similar
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
Comfort working in ambiguity and owning problems end-to-end
Bonus: experience with health/sensor data and/or real-time pipelines
